As an independent contractor, he often needs to send money abroad to pay for accommodations, services, and to support his family back home. David is financially conscious and always seeks cost-effective solutions that can maximize the value of his money transfers.
Sofia is an expatriate professional who relocated from her home country to work in a different country. She regularly sends money back to her family and supports them financially. Sofia values simplicity, reliability, and affordability when it comes to sending money abroad.
Adding promotions can attract new customers, increases user engagement and retention, provides a competitive advantage, and enables data-driven decision making. By integrating this feature, the app will effectively leverage promotions to incentivize users and drive increased usage, thereby strengthening customer loyalty and expanding the user base.

Through continuous user research, it quickly became clear that the Xe customer was looking for a way to save money on their money transfers. Users are also looking for something more transparent, not just an email communication but in-app communications. We sent this information to our growth team so they can start to build out the templates to send targeted in-app promotion campaigns using Iterable.
